Each camp includes lots of unique activities ranging from riding, equine education, arts and crafts, and games. For children enrolling in multiple camps throughout the summer, each camp will offer its own unique experience.

With one of Windfall’s qualified instructorscampers will learn the basics of riding a horse, including basic position in the saddle, 2 point position, using the reins correctly and steering the horse with their legs.  Campers will get to play some games on horseback also!  As campers advance through the levels, they will be introduced to cantering, obstacle work and even an introduction to jumping!

Arts + Crafts: Each camp is unique, with a craft that will give each camper something to remember their experience. Crafts vary from camp to camp, from picture frames with photos from camp to tie-dyed camp t-shirts and horseshoe dreamcatchers.

Other activities:  Weather permitting, campers may do a variety of activities such as nature walks, driving miniature horses, and outdoor games.

Horsemanship: Campers will learn all about horse care, including grooming, proper use of equipment, nutrition, anatomy, colors and breeds of horses. Of course, education is always more fun with games, making it all the more memorable.
